Very nice Dusty!! It is because of them that we have the freedom to sit here and post on forums all day. I am always appreciative of what they do. I guess I just need to say it more.
Whenever I see anyone in the military, I go up to them and ask to shake their hand and say thank you. I think it's really important for them to know how much we stand behind them

When I was living in Savannah GA, thats all I knew was military! All my friends there their hubby's were in the Army. I was there during 911 and Savannah pretty much shut down cause it's a real military town. When they were sending troops to Irqa and Afganastian (sp) I saw so many of my friends leave never to return home. My friends hubby left on Feb 14th of 02 their son was born March 26th of 02. He never met his father. We took video before him leaving and of him getting on the plane. Something told us he wasn't comming home and that we needed something to show his son. I called him when he son was born and talked to him, he was so happy. Next thing I heard was a loud BANG. We thought that was all for him, about 2 days later he called saying he was alright but he couldn't tell us what happened. He said he talked to his sargent and they were letting him come home. 3 days before he was to come home he was killed. He was a great guy and died doing what he loved and serving our country. He is greatly missed, by his wife, son family and me. RIP Steven!
OMG- that was heartwrenching to read Stormy.... I love soldiers, and everyone else should worship them too! I had 2 recruiters here at my home, couple months ago! I couldnt join because I have full custody of my 3 kids though! Bummer-I wish I could help!!!!! But if you are a "single" parent they wont let you go !
