I had a root canal appt. this morning. My family and I have just switched insurance so I had to go to an endodontist that I have never been to before. I walked into the office and saw him and got a very bad feeling. I thought well, I'll do all of the paper work and see what happens. I went and sat in his chair and he is looking in my mouth and his breath smelled SO BAD!!! Dentists shouldn't have stinky breath. To make a long story short, Thank God, there was a problem with my insurance and I got out of the chair to call my insurance company. As I was talking to them I thought I have to make up something to get out of here. So I did. Than the stupid b*****d tries to charge me a 95.00 conultation fee. I pretended I didn't have my bank card or my check book. I told them I'd be back in an hour with my check book and I grabbed my kids and I ran. This is one dirty, dirty man. I could see it in his eyes. He's going to be after me. It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't come knock on my door. I know he doesn't have any other patients today. Or tomorrow for that matter, I saw his appt. book. There is no way he's getting my 95.00 thought. I left a LOT of the story out but you get the idea. He's probably a mob dentist. I'm scared!!! But not scared enough to give him my money.

i would report the guy!!! i wouldnt worry about the money. i cant see him wasting his time for 95 bucks. it would cost him more to try and collect it than 95 bucks. if u get a call from him, u should tell him about his breath. u can also check his history online. try 1-800-dentist as well.
i would start with calling the phone number, and if that didnt give u enough info, try typing in dentist profiles and ur area into a search engine. it may take some digging, but i know it can be done. try typing in his name too. u never know what will pop up. i wouldnt worry to much though. if he is the creep he sounds to be, he wont want the attention u could bring to him.
I called my mother in law who is my attorney. She has written a letter to the insurance company and has everything down on paper in case he tries something. He called just a few minutes ago. I didn't answer. I haven't listened to the message yet either. I'm afraid! I am starting to believe he wasn't a legitimate dentist. There was no one in the office but him. What kind of dentist doesn't have an assistant?

wow poor you ..its scary enough to go to the dentists but to have some wacko working on your teeth ..would scare the cr*p out of me .. have you tried googling his name and seeing what comes up?
ugh .. that would scare me thinking he would come knocking ,are you alone or do have company with you? Just dont answer the door .. definately sounds like a dodgy bloke
Its just me and my girls. I do ,however, have my 6 dogs here. Even though they would never hurt anyone he doesn't know that. One of them is 130 pds. and the other is 95 so he should feel a bit intimidated. I am staying far from the door.
