What are bully sticks? I haven't seen one, just heard of them. What are they made of and why called bully sticks. And why the heck are they so expensive?? My mom said she saw them at the flea market and they were outrageous....just curious.
i get them for my dogs. they LOVE them !! they are dried bull penises. they also sell pizzles ,which are similar, but come from the pig. lol . bullysticks, or as i call them, bullyicks are rich in protein, very healthy chew items and dogs love them.
Ok...so, I am sure they are some how tasty and all, but I haven't even got past the idea of feeding my dogs pigs ears.....and now we are talking bull penis. Umm....yeah...my dogs will remain neglected for the moment!!! lmao.

Well, ya gotta love the butcher that figured out how to use every single part of a cow or pig I'm glad we are not as wasteful as we used to be. As long as those sticks gather a lot of money for the cattle producers, my steaks stay cheap....

I saw those "bully sticks" for the first time tonite on Ebay! I also saw others labeled as "Bull penis's"/. Poor Bulls- I thought at first glance- oh- a new treat for bulldogs??/

My dad has been a butcher for 20 years (has his own slaughter house). He's been throwing money down the drain all this time...lol. We do sell the testicle sacks on eBay for purses sometimes though. (leather makers turn them into purses).
Now, everytime I'm there and he is skinning a steer, I'll be eyeballing its penis and thinking dollar signs...lol. Hey, I could sell that penis and feed my goats for a week!...lol
