Well, we finally managed to get into our home Friday. Unloaded the car, bought some necessities (love moving across states, always have to rebuy the necessities...toilet paper, kitchen stuff...blah) Today we got our cable TV and internet hooked back up. YEA!!! I should be able to pop on a little more frequently now :) Loving the base house we got so far, we have a little basement (mostly storage and washer/dryer) the main floor (kitchen, living room, dining room) and the upstairs which has 3 bedrooms. My hubby and I only qualify for a 2 bedroom but since there weren't any available, the new company that took over base housing was able to put us into a 3 bedroom! Great for us to eventually grow into and wonderful for the dogs to have room to run. Anyways, thought i'd give everyone an update and let ya know what's going on.
well it seems like things are coming together for you guys. glad to hear it. it probably feels so good to be out of the motel rooms and into your own place. the dogs i'm sure love it too. so glad to hear from you and that you are all okay and happy in your new home.
Congrats on the new house, Ex!! Glad to see you'll be back more often now. You mentioned the living room, dining room, and kitchen on the 1st floor, and the 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the basement being for storage and laundry but......................................... where's your bathroom??!! LMAO!! Please tell me you guys don't have an outhouse!! Sorry, just had to say it!! Good to have you back though.
we have two bathrooms and three bedrooms. its so nice to have our own bathroom. and since we are just down to kayla at home, we were gonna fix up the extra bedroom and put our other computer up in there and a t.v and just kind of have a getaway room. but now my son has moved back for awhile and his kids are here for the summer so those plans went down the drain. it seems like we always have some sort of "boarder" here. it must be so nice to have two extra rooms ! lol
Its a little weird because everyone around us had kids. right now its just the hubby and I and our two bratty dogs :) :) :) course everyone says "those are you kids" *shrug* i guess i'm going to have to give up and say FINE they are my kids. I do love them and all but they are DOGS...(I sound horrible don't I) Trust me though, they're spoiled and everything.
On to the bathroom comment :) :) TOO funny, idea of an outhouse kinda makes me sick to my stomach. We have a half bathroom as soon as you walk in the front door and there is a full bathroom upstairs.
Hubby starts doing all his paperwork to sign in tomorrow and stuff so i'll be all alone with the two trouble makers. GRRR they're frustrating me horribly right now. I'm sooo glad we have hardwood floors because they (Tiki mostly) can't seem to hold their bladders. Being in a town home I worry about kenneling tiki because as husky's do she talks. But she yelps and whines and I call it screaming mostly when we do it. Sigh I may just have to kennel her in the basement where by some miracle I wont be able to hear her lol.
