In the coming week, there will be a few new additions to the site.  I will go over them below:

Breeders / Directory page:  It will be updated to list any breeders, websites, kennels that have been submitted to me.  If you would like to add your website or information, please email me the info.

Breeder Alert:  We will be adding a Breeder Alert page for information regarding bad experiences with breeders.  If you have had a bad experience with a breeder, or know someone who has, then that info will be made public in an effort to warn others.  The Breeder will have the option to add a follow-up comment, and you can make a statement on that as well.  Keep watching the site for more info on how this will work.

Recognized Breeders:  We will be adding a page which allows you to submit good experiences you have had with certain breeders.  With all of the negative publicity circulating the internet about bad breeders, I think those who follow protocol in breeding practices should be recognized as well.

Interactive Games:  I will be adding a few interactive games to the site as well.  My hope is to eventually have the score sheet being exclusive to our members so that we don't have to compare scores with a million other players...lol, but for now, we will have to do that. 

PROJECT: Saved Lives: I will be updating the photo album as well.  If you haven't submitted your ino yet, then please do so.  I usually only update this once a month.

Pet Resources: I will be adding a large amount of links to this page.  It has been neglected since I started this site...lol....and its time to do something with it.  If you have any pet related links that you'd like to see there, you can PM or email them to me.  They will be text links....and the more the merrier!

TP Folder:  I have had several requests for access to the folder recently.  If you were not a member prior to May 25th, 2005 then I regret to say that I cannot give you access.  The reasons for this are stated in the rules of this forum. 

Member Marathon: During the month of August, we will be holding a member marathon.  We are all members of other forums and have friends/family on the net.  I'd like us all to try and recruit one new member to The Furum.  If you recruit from another forum, please do not break any rules of that forum in doing so (maybe use a PM).

New Website Look:  I had hoped by August, but it may be even as late as October, to have an entire new look to The Furum website.  It is going to knock your socks off - I swear!  The new site will feature Flash (with a Flash intro) and have so many more features.  This will not affect the forum, just the website.  It will be, no doubt, the coolest looking pet site on the net.  I have already purchased the template, and now am waiting to have an IT specialist come and build the site for me.  Due to my expensive goat habit, I doubt it will be done by August....lol, but by October for sure.

There is a possibility that this forum or the entire site could be down while I make these improvements.  I know it will be just terrible....lol....but it will come back up.  If this happens, you will be abale to communicate on the Talk City forum located on the chat page.  There is a folder there, available to everyone, in case this should happen.   I will keep you updated there as well (if this site goes down).

I would like to thank you all for being members here.  Without members, my little hobby of having this site would be non-existent.  We have our bad days, but they are always followed by plenty of good ones.  As always, if you have any questions or suggestions.......just let me know.
