When a puppy constantly barks when it plays and when it wants to play do you correct it or let him do it? Do they grow out of it? I'm not sure what to do. Everytime Hyde wants to play with Syd or when he is playing with her, he barks, a loud high pitched bark and doesnt stop. It only happens during play. I know its normal for puppies to bark but since Syd never grew out of that habit im worried Hyde wont either. Should I do something about it? If so what should I do, i tried water and vinager, it didnt work, he actually liked it and licked it off the floor. Help! Thanks
Hmm, I don't think i stopped Lilly from doing it. She does it still but not alot. I suppose since he is going to be big and loud. You could try the shaker can with coins in it. everytime he does something you do not want him doing shake it like a mad man and tell him no with a stern voice. Its worth a try.
Trinity use to do that when she was a puppy but now she only barks when she hears something and when she is playing in the water. It also depends on what kind of dog you have I know when trinity gets really excited like with the water she barks but my mothers old dog loki which was a heeler never barked unless he heard something he didn't like.
i think some pups just bark more than others. rocky never even barked at all until we got annie. she goes off at every little noise and he will join in with her. harley will bark if you are playing fetch and try to keep his ball or stick he will keep barking until i let him have it back or just throw it. if i clap my hands together loudly he stops. so i think the jar rattling would work. harley knows i dont like the constant barking and i think he waits for me to clap my hands. it gets annoying because it is a constant barking. i dont let him do it for very long. lol
