State police warning for online: Please read this "very
carefully"...then send it out to all the people online that you know.

If a person with the screen-name of MONKEYMAN935 contacts you, do not
reply.
DO NOT talk to this person; DO NOT answer any of his/her instant

Whoever this person may be, he/she is a suspect for murder in the death
of 56 women (so far) contacted through the Internet.
Please send this to all the women on your buddy list and ask them to
pass this on, as well. This screen-name was seen on Yahoo, AOL, AIM, and
Excite so far.
This is not a joke! Please send this to men too...just in case! Send to
everyone you know! Ladies, this is serious.

I got that e-mail a while back and did some research before sending it out to everyone....Found out that a person such as that did exist, however it was many years ago and the name was different!  Here's a link that talks about the email (an urban legands site)  http://www.snopes.com/horrors/madmen/slavemas.htm

His office got this message and it also said this had to do with the whole yahoo assult kidnap thing. Then they sent it out to everyone they knew. I'm figuring that it is true since he sent it to me.

I thought the police would but they don't know who it came from. The e-mail said something like that someone created an account under this name and started stalking some familys. The person who created the account didn't think he would get caught because of the myth or what ever. I don't know whats going on with it now he sent this to me about 2 or 3 days ago and I just now checked my e-mail.

the link above that kitty provided , pretty much explains it. it was back in 2002 and he was caught and hasnt been a threat for quite some time.

yep, it was a long time ago, and he WAS caught.  that urban legends site has been great.  i look there to see what the real deal is on stuff, like the one that was going around about target and the vietnam vets.

the scary thing is that there are more of these type of people out there than just that guy. kayla has her own computer and she is warned alot about who she is talking to on her teen forums. pedophiles frequent those type of forums looking for young girls. so far she has only came accross one and she picked up on him right away and came and got quinn. i dont know what he said to the guy but he signed right off and hasnt been back. it scares me more that there are weirdo's and perverts that are out there stalking children.

atleast your teen was educated to have the sense to alert an adult. Sadly alot of these paedophiles act as kids to lure them in.
