Well, I was suppose to get my hair done tonight, but that didn't happen! lol
I was wondering if you heard of a "Transfer-up" perm. Where they change from rods to roller rods when neutralizing? I just read that this process helps finer hair hold the perm or wave longer. Just wondering what your take was one this.
Ya know, the thing is, I can style and think it looks ok but in 10 minutes it is flat and laying against my head and I hate that! I look at some girls and love their long straight hair, but I can't stand it on my head! lol
AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! I'm sorry!!! I was on here last nite but the computer or the site was being dumb and I tried to click on this thread and it kept saying that the operation timed out. So I just left and watched a movie instead!! I haven't heard of this, but you know I live in a rural Iowa farmtown, so we don't really stray too far out of the norm. I think it should work. I've heard of them doing perms with rollers before, instead of the rods so I think this would work. I assume it will make it tight at first, being on the regular perm rods, then when they put it onto the rollers, it would make the curl just a bit looser. So, hypothetically, you'd get lasting curl, especially at the scalp, without a whole heap of curl on the ends. Tell me if I'm wrong on that one, PD, I've never done it, nor have I seen it done.
