Saturday Night: Interactive Talk City Game

Back in the day, I use to play games on Talk City.  Tonight I tried it again and am now officially addicted (again) to my fav game.  Games-ABC.


I will be in the TC Games room on Saturday night and would love for you all to join me and play this game.  It is one of the funniest games you will ever play when things get rolling.

and enter a Games-ABC room to familiarize yourself on how to play it.  Basically, its a game of acronyms.  Each game is handled by a Bot and everything is automated, including score keeping.  The more people in the room, the faster it goes.  Be sure to read everything on your screen so you can understand how the games work.


An acronym is a set of letters which stand for something.  For example - TTFGH would have to be made into a sentence where each word starts with the respective letter.  In this case, you would say something like The Teacher Forgot Gary's Homework.  You have a set amount of time to get your sentence in and then the room votes on who has the best sentence.  Some of the responses that are given when people are trying to think quick are just hilarious.


What is a good time for anyone who wants to play?  I can be there anytime after 8PM.

i love stuff like that but i dont know if i can make it. kayla has been gone for six weeks and that is the day she's coming home. she would probably be mad at me if i didnt spend time with her on her first day home ! lol

ok, i checked it out, and i have a question or two.   can u post more than one answer to the acronym?  how do we judge?  i didnt see anyone elses responses when i was in there.  it was weird, but im sure ill get the hang of it.   something tells me kitty is gonna be good at this.

of course, we will be there for a while, so if you are late, that is fine.


Tuna, there has to be a certain number of people in the for the bot to work right.  It may have not been enough people in there for you to interact with it.  You can only give one answer and after the time limit, the people in teh chat room votes on the best answer.  You may need to watch a few round to get the hang of it.  Just be sure to read all the stuff that pops up on your screen when you enter the room because it tells you how to play.


When I get on tonight, I'll post the exact link to the chat room that we'll use.  I'll put it here so everyone can see it and just access it directly.

i would have liked to have gave it a try but kayla came home yesterday and i wanted to spend some time with her. would like to try it sometime though, it sounds like it might be fun.

This game is played in a TC chat room 24/7 as long as there are enough people in the room to play.  Some of the answers are goofy as heck.  Heffanator was there with us and one of the acro's was IFWD....her answer was I Fart With Donkeys!.......we were rolling over here.


You can play anytime, but its always more fun with the people you 'hang' with.  Ya'll wanna set up a date for another meet and play again?

Yea i would love it if we set up another date to play. The only person that I saw on there last night with me was ansy. Someone else might have been on there but i didn't see them. I think it would be cool if we could get our own room to play in against each other. LOL
