My New Job!

Well I got a job at my Vets office! I'm very excited. It will be really cool to finally get money for being there instead of giving them all my money like normal...lol...I'll just be a receptionist at first, but its great cause I get the experiance I need for my future.

AND I get to bring Hyde to work with me!!!! But this leads me to a question. While I am working if I left Hyde at home he would have no one to take him out, feed him lunch, etc...so I thought it would be great that I get to take him with me, but im worried about his potty training progress. So far he has had about one accident every two days, and he is getting better and better. I'm worried though that being in the kennel at work he might start going to the bathroom in the kennel and then might regress in his potty training. Do you guys think that would be a problem? I would obviously take him out as often as needed, but im not sure what working there is like, like if its hectic, etc....I could possibly bring Syd too so Hyde has company. Do you think I should? I feel kind of bad having him in a kennel all by himself, at least I'll be close by though. My main concern is his potty training though, I dont want him to start having accidents in the house.

Well first of all a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS in getting your new job..well done

and as for Hyde i think you could give it a try at work and see how it goes as your option to leave him at home has the same if not more drawbacks like no-one to feed, walk, train etc. plus the added bonus of him going to work with you is the socialisation aspect of his upbringing

Congrats on the new job.  I have been bringing Lilly to work with me since she was 3 months old.  Not one accident in her crate. It took her about a week to want to pee-poo in someone elses yard though.  She held it for the 5 hours I was there. I think he will be fine. He will get to know that the crate is his quiet time.
