That link worked thanks dusty.

That is really wierd. I'm kind of wondering why dogs would kill themselves.

I say that they put like a giant net underneathe the bridge so when the dogs jump they won't really get hurt that bad. It does make me think cause before any earthquake the naimals in the town go crazy and then right before the earthquake they get really quiet. If they are free animals they run. Animsl have that sense for stuff that is about to happen maybe they are trying to tell us something.

i wouldnt even have my dogs around a tall bridge or any bridge for that matter without being on a leash. especially if they llive there and know that dogs are jumping over the edge. what is wrong with people. if there are that many dogs doing it, wouldnt that tell you to be especially watchful of yours when around it?  seems odd to me...................

Thank you Dusty for the link correction....

From what the news said (cnn/fox) this has been going on for a while now ....

It has prompted animal welfare to look into it... the news also said that most die but some have lived to go back up and jump again...

Dogs are stupid, and the bridge should be fenced higher if it allows critters to do that.

that made me feel really uneasy reading that..a very strange story and sad. Why take you dog on there without a lead if you know others have been throwing themselves off.

You would never get me and Harvey on there im really scared of heights..i went on the London Eye and my knees actually knocked together as i was shaking so much lol

me too twink. i am deathly afraid of heights and bridges. i avoid them at all costs. i just dont understand why people wouldnt have control of their dogs when crossing over a bridge. especially if they know it is one that dogs like to leap off of.

I remeber hearing this story a couple of months ago on the radio. I can not think for the life of me what owuld be causeing this tragic thing to happen. It boggles the mind. I feel so sorry for the owners and the animals.
