i am excited for you ! we had a really hard time choosing between a french or english bulldog. they are both so darn cute. english bullies are pretty easy to get here. it would have been alot easier than having to have a pup shipped from missouri and russia. but i just fell in love with those darn ears. and the size was better for us as frenchies are smaller. but our next choice would have been a english bulldog. baby bullies are the cutest ! dont you just want to kiss those smooshy faces up ! lol
I can't wait to kiss on Hank's face, I just can't wait. The only thing I'm afraid of is that there aren't any show-quality males in the litter. I want to show. If there aren't any show quality I know I will just bring home a pet quality. I won't be able to walk away. I live in PA which is a huge puppymill state so I just have to be really careful. I'm very fortunate to have a very good breeder 2 hours from me. They have the #4 bulldog in the country who is my puppies sire.

have you seen any pics of the puppies yet ? i bet they are the cutest !! dont feel bad i wouldnt be able to walk away either. i am too big a softy for a flat face . lol
No. I haven't seen pictures. They aren't very computer savvy. I am supposed to call them on the 22nd and we will set up a time when I can come visit. They don't allow anyone in their house until the puppies are 6 wks. old and have had their shots. Once the puppies hit 6 wks. they wany anybody and everybody in their house to start the socialization. I can go out everyday if I want to. They told me to bring my camera and video camera and whatever I wanted with me when I go visit. I just talked to them on Tuesday. I asked for pictures. He said he'd love to send me some but he has no idea how and he doesn't own a digital. They have another litter of puppies right now that is 3 wks. old. They are all female. There were more than 3 females but some of them didn't make it. He didn't say how many but he did say that they were a pound and a half at birth! Those are some big bulldog puppies. Its sad but I can see why some didn't make it. There are only 3 males so keep your fingers crossed that there is show quality. There are 2 people in front of me for a puppy. One wants a show quality female and one wants a pet male. They haven't bred in over 2 years and these are people that they have been working with for a while. They are going to let them have first pick. They also don't know what they are going to keep yet. I hope I'm not too excited over nothing.

it sounds like if there is a show male that you will be first in line for him. most breeders keep females so your pretty safe on them not keeping a boy. i think you will most likely get your pup. i thought about showing rocky too and have been talking to one of the top frenchie breeders. she used to own my rockys dad. rocky has a fantastic pedigree. i just dont know if i want to deal with all the politics that go along with showing. lol
