Two of them are now with the vet and the other is still at large. The vet has found a foster home to take them in until more permanent arrangements can be made. We will try to catch the last one today. They are not wild, just a little skittish of people.....and its even harder to get the last one with all of his/her family gone. I think the turning point for the vet was hearing that the mother had been shot. After that he kind of turned things up a notch. If we get this other pup, then at least the story can have somewhat of a happy ending.
thats great that your vet is helping out like that. it shows that he is a caring person.a credit to his profession. the other one will probably come around soon. he is probably starving and scared. poor baby. hopefully you can get your hands on him too and they will all get good homes.they are lucky someone like you moved in there .
thats great news that they have found a foster home..its a shame you cant get near the other one.. this sounds abit wacky but i have seen it been done before on a aggresive dog which was trapped and in danger .. they put a sedative in some food and it knocked the dog out so they could get to him out without and injuries and into safe hands.. not sure if its something you can do but i thought it might be an idea
