I am going broke with the way gas prices are here. I am paying 2.25 a gallon and it supposed to go up to 2.60 by the time Labor day hits. And then its supposed to go down some after that. I drive for my job and its killing me. Its pretty bad when the clerks at the gas station know me by name. This sucks!!!!!!!
Thats exactly how it is here. Last week they were up to 2.15 then they went down to 2.09. And then it was 2.19 and it went up to 2.25. I try to find the cheapest gas everyday.
I wish it could just go or down. It needs to make up its mind cause it starts to go down and people start getting all excited cause they think that the gas prices are going down but then 2 days later its started going back up. LOL
2.27 here for the cheep 87 oct. ~ it is a killer.... we have a big work truck.. it use to be 42.00 +/- to fill up front and back tanks now it cost 80.00+ to fill one and a half... double+ ...
LOL kittysmom. My mother has a 1997 honda CRV. It gets horrible gas mileage cause its a 4x4. I'm trying to talk her into selling it cause the brakes are really bad on it as well. LOL
I filled up today. I had a quarter tank left and it cost 22 bucks to fill it up. So it would probably cost about 30 to fill it up from E. I need one of those ugly little cars that get 50 mpg.
I'm just guessing on my car. I don't remember the last time I filled my tanks all the way up. I usually just put 10 dollars in when I start to get low. LOL
2.27?? I wish I was paying that! It's up tp 2.35 here for 87 and going up it was at 2.32 yesterday. It will go up 10 cents and go down 2, make a whole lota sence!
All of my cars will take at least 40 to fill. My car at a half a tank takes no less than 35 to fill I never let it get to low, when I do and I go to fill it up I feel like I was ripped off paying over 50 for gas in a car and not a truck or SUV.
I paid $2.22 a gallon the other day....that was the highest I've paid yet. They just said on the news though that over the next 2 weeks there will be a considerable increase.....to expect $2.50 a gallon here.....so those of you that are already higher than us....look out.
It is an economic disaster. Wages aren't going up to compensate for this additional living expense and I'm sure they won't. It just makes it harder on those already struggling. This is political for me though.....and its why I didn't vote for Bush. I say, for all those who did, maybe you can see why some of us didn't now. Haliburton plays a huge role in this and Bush was behind Haliburton all the way - even profiting from it. So when gas gets too expensive to go anywhere, you can partly thank your President.
Trust me, i didn't vote for Bush........lol The gas prices here are 2.35 and we can all expect to see it rise more. We have done considerable talking about making big changes in the future and one is to look into alternative fuel vehicles.
Weve got a Rover 25 which is not the fastest car but it is cheap on petrol. The prices are also going sky high here A while ago before the gioverment said the prices were gonna rise there was mass hysteria and people were filling up mamy many petrol containers they had Some people were even using vegetable oil to run there cars. Not great for the engine but it worked lol
