Well, we leave Fri. morning for Vegas. My brother gets married on Sunday! I can't believe he is finally getting married!
I am mostly packed and ready to GO!!!!
You know, my brother did all this through a travel agency. In my family it is just my mom, dad, brother, and me. We are all flying the same flights to and from Vegas. Yesterday, I had this horrible thought....what if the plane went down....there is NO ONE to take care of my kids. All the beneficiaries for my parents estate will be on that plane. The state would take over and who knows what the kids would end up with. I would guess my parents estate is easily worth about a million dollars all together. I also, have nothing set up for my kids. I am calling their dad and discussing it with him tonight.
I called my mom and told her what I was thinking, although she and dad already paid for their tickets, they bought new ones this morning. They will fly seperately. They hadn't really thought about it either, but they were so upset about it last night and decided to forfiet the money and break the group up just in case.
You just never know. Kinda seems drastic, but I feel so much better.
The hardest part is trying to discuss this with my boys and not getting them all upset or worried. I need to talk to them, but not sure the best way to handle it. I will have to think about it some more and talk to them tonight.
When it comes to my kids, I am a worry wart!! lol
On the lighter side....I AM COMING BACK RICHER!!!! YAY!! (Wishful thinking!)
I am not worried so much now. I went to my mom's this afternoon and she gave me the big run down of there policies, what goes where, to who, how much, college funds for kids....etc...
I hate those talks! lol They do this everytime they go on vacation.
Here a kicker!! They told me that it is in their will that if they were to "go" and I was already "gone" Their dad gets 20,000 a year! I said "better not tell that to Neil, he might hire a hit man for us all!" lol (joking of course)
Well, I am so excited to leave. I have butterflies in my belly!!
