Feliway??? anyone use it?

Has anyone used Feliway before? I saw some at my work and its suppose to keep cats from peeing/marking. Since Fez has decided to start peeing on my bed once a week, I was thinking of getting some to put in my bedroom, then at least the bedroom would be safe.

Im just curious if it actually works?

I have never heard of it either but I read about it at www.catfaeries.com/feliway.html...it sounds like it will work, I know cat pee can stink so whatever works lol

Since its introduction in 1997, Feliway has been THE miracle and last resort for people who's cats are spraying urine or urinating outside their litter boxes. This is known as 'marking territory with urine.' This behavior does not respond to 'behavior modification,' scolding, or to tranquilizing drugs.

Feliway, which is made by leading veterinary products maker Farnam Companies, mimics the friendly pheromone scent a cat produces in its cheeks. Cats never rub their cheeks on or around their litter boxes. When you spray Feliway on or near a place(s) they urinated or sprayed the cat will get the message "I smell friendly cheek scent, I'm not supposed to pee here."

I've never heard of it either. I have a question cat related. If a cat rubs up against a dog, is it because it likes the dog or it is marking its territory?

Syd, are you getting my P.M.'s?
