Do you love animals! Do you want to help a pet in desperate need for a healthy life? Please donate towards Hollys Fund and donate via paypal before Holly hits a relapse again! It is a way better outcome for her to have the operation now! the sooner the better! Time IS OF the utmost importance with this surgery! Please help Holly and If you can, or even if you cant, please forward her link on to someone who dosnt want to see an AWESOME girl, that just happens to come from an awful uncaring Pug Breeder , just fall to the wayside! What Holly has is a genetic defect and it was already admitted by the breeder that " I didnt know the lines of ...... but I will have her sterilized just to be certain no more of our pups carry that!"
If you can, Holly would sure appreciate a chance! You only get one life, Holly and I would like to make it a nice long life!! Please help if possible, or pass it on!
Thanks jawlaw for putting a 'sticky' on it! I appreciate that very much- and Holly is very much looking forward to a healthy life! She wants a life where she is not sick all the time! If there are any "skeptecis" out there please check out the canadian Pug rescue! I want to move there now, these people, and there affiliates are saints! Angels actually!
Lovin, I think just one more thing is needed in the fundraiser. A direct phone number to the vets office to verify the fundraiser is for real. I know there are doubters out there. But just to ease anyones mind. To assure them they are not getting scammed. Please don't be offended. I want Holly to get all the help she can.
I dont know how much they have so far! Her page was completed and given my OK late last night! I dont have anyway to know how much is raised so far. I will have to Email them and ask them to keep me posted! I wont be handling any money, or donations! I just have to keep putting her Link anywhere that I can! Im thinking of making some flyers and putting them up at Hollys 2 Vets offices that she goes to! I know Seattle Pug Rescue will be donating as well, again Im not sure how much that is actually either! All I can say is I hope this works, because Holly will have to take an additional Med for 2 weeks before the surgery [ an anti-seisure medication] so whenever the funds get there, it will still be 2 weeks after that. I feel better knowing that I truely am doing everything in my power to help her, it is a little nerve wrecking though! If you chose not to donate, or you cant, please keep Holly in your thoughts that she does not have another relapse again! She could still get the surgery, but there is a much better chance for a good recovery, if she is in good health! Thanks again for letting me post her link here! Or if anyone else has any ideas on how to spread the word, let me know!
I just saw your reply Puttin! You are so right! I will email them and tell them that! Thanks- if you have any other ideas please let me know! Thanks!
How about also asking your vet office if you can hold a little fundraise outside his office building. Does it get alot of foot traffic? Any little bit will help. It will help to have Holly there, and people can verify with their office if they want too also.
Today we took the Pugs to The Dogpark, [not Mia she is Dog aggresive!]
Anyways they have a bulletin board for all members to post things. So I remembered that and printed out a flyer from Hollys page and put one out there too! I dont know if it will help, but it couldnt hurt either!
Holly is at $ 30.00 so far! But Im just going to hope for the best! Thanks Puttin, that is an interesting idea! I am definatly NOT a people person, but I would try for Holly! Maybe a neighbor of mine might be able to go and do that with me!? Thanks again though! Twinkletoes if you didnt already see Hollys Page- We need minimally 2 grand! It undoubtably will be MORE, but that is at least what It would cost! At this rate it is not looking very good, so I will love if anyone has any suggestions! Thanks everyone...
We are still at 149.12, this AM, but there is a person who will be adding 200.00 at the end of the week so thats cool! Also the Seattle Pug Rescue still hasnt donated, but they have already to commited to helping Holly so hopefully that one will be coming soon as well! Thanks PrettyDobie, even if you can't donate we appreciate your concern, and your "fingers crossed!" Thank you, and if anyone belongs to any other forums please post Hollys link if you can, or will! For Holly time is of the essence, so the more people see it, the better! I found out a Vet Hospital in Tenneessee does this surgery for a bit less, but that is quite far from Minnesota- so we shall see what happens!
I have a question??? I tried to go thru paypal, now since I am not ordering anything should I click on shipping address not needed? If yes, I tried and it gets messed up. Should I just click on my shiping info to be included???
I just noticed I think that was a while ago you asked me that! Did you figure it out? I dont know why you would have to put an address, but if I dont get an email back from Diana in a couple minutes I will call her home and ask for you! Thanks again!
I had tried twice and clicked to not add my address as it was not needed, but an error type of page came up. I will try again tommorrow. I can't put in tons, but every little bit gets you closer. If I need to I will just add my address,Payplay should know it anyways.
Well thank you very much again for whatever you choose to donate, every little bit counts, and is VERY much appreciated! I hope it works for you tomorrow!
Someone from the Canadian Pugs Website Emailed me this story of a Pug with a liver shunt that really reminds me of Holly! And lilly is a black Pug, not a fawn one like Holly! I would swerar these 2 fiesty girls are realated as they have almost all the same traits! It is an inspirational story about a Pug with a Liver Shunt! Check it out if you want to!
Once again Puttin, you are really full of the best ideas !! I called it immediatly and they told me to keep checking back as there funds are depleted at this time! I will keep checking there daily though! Thanks you have helped us so much I am so greatfull!
