Is a puppies paw size really a good indicator on just how big they could get? I've heard this before and Syd is the only puppy i have ever had before Hyde.Her paws were small and she stayed small. I was looking at Hyde's paws this morning and looked at the other dogs paws and his are bigger then everyones, even my Lab's(Winnie). Does that mean he could possibly be bigger then Winnie?
All of my dogs execpt Tigger and Winter had HUGE feet. Tigger is about 75LBS and Winter well she's a lil thing. Storm had really big feet and she's around 100 now. There are execptions to everything. Just like the size of a mans feet. Ok i'll stop.
my gsd had big paws as a pup. he ended up weighing 120 lbs. very large for a gsd. but i think that was just him ,i dont think it means that all pups with big paws will be big dogs.
Ivan has always had really big paws. He is 9 months old and weighs about 60-70 lbs. I don't know how much more he'll grow, but his feet are still large.
