Well, I put your picture up, next to it... You can pull that dress off with your figure, that is for sure. It is elegant. You are enough like the model's color that if your lipstick and nails were matched to the dress's color it would work well. I like it better than the lite coffee color with the light skin and hair you have. It will still show stains like a mutha, but that does not worry you, obviously. If you wanted black, someday, I liked http://www.verawang.com/dresses/fulllength the one with the lacy belt... Move the lever 3/4 of the way to the right. It is the 13th dress[hey, lucky number].
I like that dress a lot too. I'm not sure if I can wear black or not. I am going to be the bridal attendant and a reader. I am the bridal attendant because my girls are the flower girls and this way I will walk in with them and keep them in line when they're in the front. I also am reading something. I have no idea what. Anyway, since I will be standing with the bridesmaids I don't know if she'll want me to wear black. The bridesmaids are wearing chocolate with a gold belt. She is using the colors chocolate, gold, orange, wine, red, basically anything fall. I think all of these colors together are going to look strange. Here's why. The bridesmaids are wearing the choc. and their bouquets are red. I'm not so sure about that. I'm not sure what colors the girls are wearing yet. She wanted them to wear orange but I said no way! We are going to Brooklyn on Monday to get them fitted. The wedding is in November. I also have another wedding to go to on New Year's Eve of a friend. I'm trying to find one that I can wear to that also. I'm not worried about getting dirty because I won't be taking care of the kids that day. When my mother in law is around she doesn't let me do anything for my kids. She says when she is with us it is my break time. I love break time.

I figured you would ditch the kids to wear that... Well, I like it for what you say. You will blend with the coffee colored girls, but stand out subtly as different. Sounds more like fall leaves to me, they come in lots of colors. You will be a pretty leaf, the bridesmaids will be the dead leaves Grab the black one if it looks good on you, and keep it as a back-up, I love the neckline on it. Try the kids in a soft yellow gold...something that won't clash with your wine...
The color of that next to the wine dress looks beautiful. I don't think the bride will have it though. She's dead set on them wearing a color. Here's the one she sent me that she wants them to wear, which I can't stand. http://www.theperfectpear.com/dressv492.asp
I like this one I think. http://www.theperfectpear.com/dressv505.asp The bride doesn't like this one. My mother in law and I are going to Brooklyn on Monday without her. She's getting on our nerves.

Your choice is better than hers. That would certainly be more comfy for the kids than the one I just put up...both choices are informal, though, is that how the wedding is in general?
No. The wedding is very formal. Thats why I'm stuck looking for a designer evening dress. I'd much rather wear a comfy skirt and sensible shoes. I just feel that if a dress has a certain style to it than no matter what the kids wear it will fit in. Does that make sense? I just think its to hard to dress a 6 and 2 year old formal and have them still be comfortable. Even though my mother in law won't let me lift a finger for them when she's around I still know what goes on with them every second. Thats just the mom in me. If they get cranky because of comfort than I'm going to be stressed. I'll be stressed that they're uncomfortable and stressed that she won't let me do anything to help them. I know that the store we are going to in Brooklyn is where they went a few weeks ago looking for wedding dresses. My mother in law said the flower girl dresses they had there were gorgeous. I know this isn't my wedding but the kids aren't going to wear anything I don't give the okay for. If there is nothing there that I like I have a children's dress shop here that sells the perfect pear dresses. I'll just call them and make an appt. for the girls and pay for their dresses myself and she can kiss my a$$. At this point in the game the kids comfort is the most important thing for me. Also the fact that all they do is fight here lately and I can just see them getting into a fight during the wedding. Sheesh!
