My car broke down while I was at work today. It was my transmission. So now I am totally without a car. We had to rent one and it cost 250 for 8 days. I kind of like our rental. Its a 2005 Dodge Magnum. Pretty Pimp!!! Just thought I would tell y'all about my crappy car.
We are contemplating on getting it fixed. Right now a mechanic is looking at it to find out exactly what needs to be fixed. He said that worse case it will cost 1800 to 2000, and its gonna take a week to get it back. The damn car is only worth 4500. I told Brad that we should just get a new car. We are still talking about it.
But other than that I love teh Magnum. At first I felt a little weird driving it but now I don't want to give it back. LOL!!! My sister though is going to let us take her 2005 Chevy single cab. But I have to wait for the weekend to go get it because she is 2 hours away.
that is sweet of your sister to you use her truck. it will save you the big expense of the rental, until you can get yours fixed or get a replacement. my sister just bought a 2005 silver pt cruiser convertable. the touring edition. its a beauty. i have rode in in when i go places with her, but i dont know if she would be that generous with letting me have it for awhile. lol
