Testing my patience

So we had to take the slipcover for the futon in to get washed...so I take it to the laundromat and wash it (because Tiki pottied on it)  However I also had to buy a little shampooer thing so I could clean the futon, which I finally bought last night.   So last night since the futon was finally cleaned and the slipcover was cleaned I put the slipcover back on the futon (after being off for about 2 weeks).  This morning I'm laying on the couch watching tv, Tiki comes over and I'm scratching her head for about five minutes.  She walks off comes back and jumps on the couch.  I think she's just going to lay on the couch tucked in behind me OH NO!!  Next thing I know I feel something warm and wet on me!  That DA*n dog pi**ed on me!!  She also managed to get it on the slipcover!  She is driving me absolutely batty!   Anyways, I managed to get the slipcover off before it leaked through to the futon (after taking Tiki outside and leaving her on the tie-out)  I was going to take it over to my neighbors to wash it but our laundry detergent is in the back of the car which my husband has at work!!  GRRRRRRR.

On top of all that, when I go outside to let Tiki in Lola trails out behind me.  I didn't worry too much because usually she's relatively good at staying close by.  Tiki and I get close to the back door and Lola's off and running down the side walk (we live in townhomes that dont have fenced yards)  I send Tiki in and start to chase after lola.  Finally I gave up and as soon as I started walking back towards the house she started following me home.   But no sooner I get to the door and reach for her to pull her in but she tries to run again!   So I shut the door and left her out.  After about five minutes of opening the door trying to coax her in and closing it, i was finally able to get behind her to pick her up.  Her butt went into time out for that one.

GRRRRR!!!  Why do they ALWAYS act up when the hubby's not home!  These two are starting to drive me crazy, anyone got a car they can just give me so I can go back to work lol

I hear ya! My boys will have a few hours where they just sleep....Then it is back to tearin' up the house! I love them though. Even though borris still at 9 months is writing his name in pee on the carpet.

I don't have a tip on how to get her to stop, BUT I do for the couch.  I bought some of those things you use under baby sheets.  It is material on the outside and plastic on the inside.  It is always under the sheet I have on my couch.  It prevents the couch from getting anything on it, even though the sheet may get soiled.  Its happened maybe 5 times total.  You could maybe use those blue hospital things too that look like puppy pads. I think with pup pads they have something on them that may draw them to pee on them, so I would steer away from those.

i know what you go through. you have a french bulldog too. they are stubborn and BULL-headed . rocky does the same thing to me. our yard is fenced, but i wont let him or annie stay out long on hot days. when i call them in, annie comes but rocky will get in a mood and just look at me. smoochy faces and sweet talk doesnt work. he will wait until i get right up to him and take off doing laps around the yard .i have got it down now to saying "treats" and he beats me to the door.  he is such a food pig.
