Poopy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this morning I am just sick to my stomache, nope not pregnant. Last night my husbands car decided it wanted to cause some ruckus in the neighborhood all by itself.  It slipped gears or something, Parking brake on, and rolled half a block down the street. Hitting a couple of trash containers, then sautered acroos the street to the neighbors we don't like and graved their old caddy. Nicely kept car. Their car just needs a new headlight and a bit of paint. Thats it. Our car!!! both doors or the driver side and the far back panel got a nice dented gach all along the side of the car.  I am just sick over this.  Right when you think your life is going smoothly something like this has to happen. It stinks.  The only good thing is no one was physically hurt.

Addition:  And to add, my place just shook, I thought it was an earthquake, but maybe something like one of those sonic booms.  Doors windows shootk In any case my nerves are shaken and I just feel like crying. That scared the cr*p out of me. My dogs all started running around scared too.  Well Sasha just layed there, waiting for me to react. So I stayed calm.

Added mintues later again. God I hear a bunch of cop cars, or fire-engines. I wonder whats going on. I wonder if a plane went down or something bad.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough day.    It's good nobody was hurt by the runaway car though.  If you figure out what the boom was, let us know.  I'm curious.

I hope you are ok now!!  I know it wasnt my sons plane, as he called me as soon as they landed is safe and sound!   I hope you find out what in the world that was, that would scare me too!  Oh, and I sympathize with a car rolling down the driveway!  That happened to me as well.  With the same son of mine that just got home{he is 11 right now!}   When he was 5 at the time, Nick  decided he  was gonna take his friends for a spin.  My camero was a stick, and all he did was knock it out of gear!  Luckily nobody was hurt!  Let us know what the "Boom" was.  Sometimes when electrical boxes blow a fuse in my neighborhood, they make a noise like that too!

I had borrowed my moms truck once and it did the same thing. It only wiped out the neighbors mail box luckily. Scared the crap out of me.

I don't know about the boom, I may never. Hubby will go talk to the guy whos car got our cars way, LOL He is hoping we can just fix his car, no insurance call. I doubt that though. We figure fixing it ourselves will cost less than having our insurance highered for who knows how long.  But I think it will end up going that route. Thats how those peope would deal with it.

Thanks for the well wishes. I feel better this morning.

Yep, been through the car rolling thing too.........lol  Mine popped out of gear and rolled backwards down a steep driveway and up the one across the street.  It actually rolled back and forth until it finally stopped in the middle.

blimey...that was definatley a bad day . I've never heard of a car slipping out of gear and rolling away especially with the parking break on atleast no-one was injured except the car..as for the boom that sounds weird..we get them alot here as we have jets constantly doing sonic booms over my area..but to hear medics etc go past aswell it must have been an accident of somekind ..did you find out what it was yet puttin?

I'm thinking it was a sonic boom.  Twink is it pretty flat in London?  You know we are on a small slant of a street too. Must have caught the wind or something.

Turn those wheels against the curbs, if there is a hill, it's illegal, otherwise.
Just sucks though. It's bad enough trying all the time to drive w/o accident...then the stupid things start making their own accidents, well that just bites.

Yes it does bite.  I have been getting on hubbys case to turn the wheels.  Its not really even considered a hill. But just enough I guess.
