worms

Jason thinks Hyde has worms, cause he thinks he saw something coming out of his butt, to me it looks like dried grass that got stuck to his butt fur. Jason said when he got Hyde out of the room this morning he saw it agian and he said it was a little longer and wiggly? I dont know, cause if Jason hadnt said anything, I wouldnt have thought hyde had worms, im almost positive Hyde was dewormed by the breeder, i have the papers, i got to find them. Hyde has been straining a little when he poops, would this be a sign of worms? I also checked Hyde's poop and I saw nothing in it. Oh and he doesnt have that big belly that puppies with worms normally have.

If he does have worms you guys think its okay to wait till tomorow to deworm him? Cause my work is closed today and i can get 50% off the worming meds, but if i got to emergancy they will charge me an arm and a leg? What would you guys do, and what do you think? Thanks

It would probably be safe to wait until tomorrow. I have never had a dog with worms so I'm really unsure on it. But tomorrow isn't that far away so he will probably be okay.

lol one day is not gonna hurt him to wait generally the only worm you need to be careful with in pups is hook worm that can make a pup very sick very fast but generally you will be fine till the next day. Breeders often deworm but the pups are still found to have worms sometimes it takes a couple treatments to get them all.

With your connections, you should be giving Panacur granules, in one pound tubs.
This gets most worms gone.
You should do it as often as necessary.

Also I weighed him, and he weighs 28.3 pounds!! He turns four months on Sept. 2nd! I wonder how big he will be.

If you used Droncit, you have tapeworms...what did the vet say?
