i pray that they get rescued also. its amazing in itself that they survived the storm. there are alot of homeless pets now. i see that one of the hotels were taking in lost pets . i guess everyone is doing what they can to help. i would be willing to house some of the homeless pets also.
What is this world coming to, now where are all of the people we helped in times of need..I just feel horrible especially for the animals. It's nice to see that not all of the pets are forgotten about.
pd. there are no stories behind them. there is basically no communication right now except what we get from the media. we are only getting what they want us to see and hear. there is much more graphic horror going on there than will ever be shown on camera. its a real nightmare for those people. another sad part is that of all the homes being offered it will be a long time before the stranded people will even know about them as they have no way of finding out. especially the ones that are in the astrodome. hopefully word of available homes will get to those people so that they can get out of there . right now the focus is on just getting everyone out of immediate danger.
thats too true dusty i can only take a small sad guess at what tradgedys lay beneath buildings and hidden away in crumpled homes. This situation is just awfull and i watch it with disbelief ~ I have never seen such an awfull natural disaster happen in the U.S.A before
i think they are going to need more than just the navy. its going to take alot of people and alot of work just in clean-up before they can even begin to rebuild.
I sure hope someone rescues that doggie on the roof :( Poor guy!!
