The ex at the SPCA got my message. The SPCA was able to get into the city today and rescued the seven kennel dogs. All of them are fine. I've never been so relieved.

The ex just called again and told me that the SPCA was able to get in touch with the kennel owner, and she will be picking up all of the dogs tonight. The kennel owner actually owns one of the seven. I think all of the other owners had left town, but I'm not sure about that. Two of the dogs were supposed to be picked up like a month ago, so they may have been abandoned, but their owner went to Europe. Their owner had obviously spent a ton of money on one of the dog's allergy problems, and the dogs had been very well cared for. She didn't seem like the type to abandon her dogs (oddly enough, there is kinda a type), and for all I know, she got blown up in London.
The kennel owner is friends with someone who owns two of the dogs and probably has a cell phone number for her.
I imagine the owners of the last two will turn up eventually.
The issue will be finding a place to care for them all until their owners resurface.

God what a relief!!!!!!!!! Proto, you have done a good job in helping those dogs survive. Its all because of you. Big pat on the back for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did the ex tell you what the place looked like, was it halfway filled with water, no, none , some?
I'm so happy for you and them.
Yesterday, I started crying watching the news when man was sitting there with his 3 shepard mixes. He was talking about how he was wading thru the water with all three and how he felt so horrible that he did not get them out sooner. He broke down crying, I felt soooo sad for him. It made me cry.
I didn't see that puttin. Here is dallas I'm not hearing anything about the animals its even hard to find stuff about the animals on the internet. My uncle and I were talking last night and he told me that right now animals come second the first thing is to save the people. I got so pissed at him for saying that. As my and my mother were leaving he asked me if I was mad at him for what he said and I said yes I was. He said that if I had a kid and they were drowning along with my pets who would I save. I simple said that I would rescue my child and then go back for my pets cause instead of wondering if they were dead or alive at least I would know instead of wondering. He didn't say anything after that if one lady leaned over and told my uncle that I made a good point.
thats is fantastci news protodog..i was thinking of them last night ..i couldnt stand the idea of them drowning and suffering but its great that these lucky ones survived
As to dogs vs. kids, my dogs ARE my kids I still would rescue a human over an animal[even my own] just outta principle I would likely never get over the loss of the animal, and likely the human would not even thank me...
