Well, Kaia has had to be seperated from Koda and probably will until Thursday. Kaia has started attacking Koda for no reason. Well, no physical reason. She is mentally just slowly going away. I cannot trust her with my kids now because she attacked Koda. She would just attack his muzzle, he wasn't even facing her. So Kaia has been spending her outside time in our 10x20 kennel and I alternate her and Koda periodically and let Koda go in there and let Kaia run the yard. It is so hard to watch one dong just deteriote so quickly. I feel bad for Koda. I feel very bad for Kaia even though she has no idea anything is wrong. :( It did however, justify to me that I am doing the right thing. I will keep you all updated.
That's so sad. I know you're giving her the best possible quality of life she can have in her remaining days. Your heart must be breaking, and I'm sorry Kaia and your family have to go through such a difficult experience.
