We found out today that my dad doesn't have cancer. Which is good!!! Now we just need to find out what is wrong....LOL!!! But tomorrow they are doing exploratory surgery. So now I know they will find something and then we can get him fixed up and out of that damn hospital.
great news paige ! the word cancer alone is enough to give anyone a scare. thankfully that has been ruled out. once they do figure out the problem, he can get fixed up and go home. he's probably going stir crazy in there by now.
We still don't know what time the surgery is. I am getting very anxious. My aunt said that the doctor that is doing the surgery is known for doing them at 7 in the afternoon. I plan on going there when Brad gets back so hopefully by that time we will know something on the time. And they are also having to shave my daddies belly...he will look so weird smooth. My dad is a very hairy man. LOL!!!!
It was so hard for me to look at my dad in such a vulnerable state. He is strong willed and independent that seeing lay there was the hardest part. I think of you everyday. I am glad you keep us posted. Always praying for you!!!
I know what you mean MPP. My dad has never been sick. He barely even gets a cold. I am the same way. He is also stubborn and hard headed. The last time he was in the hospital he had a blood clot in his leg and it was hard to get him to sit still. LOL!!But that was 7 years ago. Right now he seems to weak. Its sad to see him like that.
