just keep in mind thats it only for a few hours that you will have to deal with them. and its for the baby. like them or not, they are still the babys kinfolk and you want to at least keep the peace if for no other reason than that.i had a problem with my son-in-laws mother when my daughter had her last two boys. she saw me come in and kept huddling over my daughter like i wasnt there ! tim had to tell his mother to back off and that i was her mother and am the one that needed to be in that spot. lol . and then she almost knocked me down to be the first one to hold him. so with the second one he sent her to wash her hands before holding the baby and when she did, he put the baby in my arms.  hehe  . this time i will be ready for her !

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you! And as hard as the pregnancy is, it goes really fast. And then they are born, and then them growing up goes fast as well. I feel like I just had my daughter, and she's already 3!!!!


I'm sorry about your in-laws. Like someone else said, it may stink to have them around, but there can never be enough people to love that little girl of yours, and that's the important thing :)
