Here is a couple of pictures of the puppies playing:
Here is the little girl Cookie who is HUGE but precious:
Here is the third little boy, Mo, I didn't mention him yet. I may be wrong but I don't think he's close to show quality at all. His head is way to small. The head is supposed to be at least as wide as the body and his head is even smaller than Jack's who is the runt of the litter and tiny.
Here is Jack. He is adorable and I love him. The problem with him is that his nose has quite a bit of pink in it which is a big no, no.
Here is my precious Manny. I love him!
Sorry there are so many. I have many, many more if you want to see them. It was just so hard to decide which ones to show. There were a total of 6 puppies. 3 boys and 3 girls.

The boys personalities were all so much a like. I instantly fell in love with all of them. The reasons I singled out Manny were his spots on his ears (aren't those just too cute!) and all of his wrinkles. I love the wrinkles!

LOL, I love Mo. I think he absolutely adorable. Of course, I wouldn't be showing anyway so I don't care if his head is smaller. He has the sweetest face. I have always wanted an English Bulldog but the cost is what has stopped me. To get one from a good breeder costs quite a bit. They are not real common in my area so they are even more spendy. Maybe someday. :( lol I have read alot on them and know the only way I would get one is from a excellent breeder. Too many health issues not to.
They are calling Mo, Mo because he has "mo spots." LOL
These puppies aren't as expensive as some bulldog puppies but these breeders are excellent and they're really not in it for the money. They just love the dog. They're house is completely covered in bulldog. They have a huge cabinet in there living room that must have over a thousand bulldog statues. They have bulldog rugs, bulldogs hanging on the walls, bulldogs everywhere you look. They have a HUGE RV thing in their driveway that they use for shows that has to have cost more than their house. Its bigger than their house. They really live for their bulldogs. They retired so that they could spend every second with their dogs. They're amazing people and they're where I want to be in 20 years. They are living the life I have always wanted to live. Their bulldogs are also very healthy. They have one right now who is 14. None of their dogs have ever passed before 12. For bulldogs, thats amazing.
When they bring you your puppy (they bring the puppy to you and if they don't find your home life suitable they will not leave the puppy with you) they bring you a notebook. On the front cover is your puppys AKC name and above it they have it written in hieroglyphics. Under that they have mom and dad listed with their AKC name and also above those is in hieroglyphics. On the first page in the book is the pedigree. These pedigrees are quite impressive and full of champions. Following that is care instructions and the mixtures that they have found best to clean the wrinkles and tail. The next pages are possible health problems and what to do about them. Following that is a list of vets in our area for bulldogs. Next you have the history of the bulldog and bulldog standard. There is lots of other things in there but I can't remember. It impresses me just that they took the time to put all of this together.

wow ! i want them all ! lol. my favorite is cookie. she is a beauty. but i too am a lover of the bull breeds .thats why i have two and want more ! lol . i hope you get your pup .the breeders do sound like they love the breed. if i ever decide to breed my frenchies, the owners of the feed store want two and we would end up keeping the rest ! lol
Cookie is beautiful. She is so big. She was almost 2 pds. when she was born. I don't want a girl. I'm dead set on that. I don't want the responsibility of trying to get a b**ch in heat in the show ring.

They only come in season twice a year, silent heats the first year or so, usually. Polite people do NOT show a b*tch in season. I'm not sure it is even allowed She is awfully pretty. I don't like the pink around the eyes, anymore than the nose[on Mo]. We always avoided purchasing horses like that. Any prone to cherryeye?http://www.trimbullbulldogs.com/cherryeye.html http://bulldogsworld1.homestead.com/CherryEye.html
I think they are all irresistable! I'm glad I've never looked for a pup to show in conformation - I'd probably end of up with 2 because I'm sure the one that would catch my heart first would probably be "pet quality".
Bulldogs are prone to cherry eye however, they have never had a bulldog with cherry eye in their breeding program.
I may be wrong but I do believe bi*ches are allowed to be shown while in heat. The ones I know of that show them while in heat only do it during the big shows or if they're up for champion.
Aside from all of that I just don't want a girl.
The pink around the mouth of a bulldog is common and nothing to worry about. Its just where the hair is white and thinner around those area. Sometimes it thickens up with age and you don't see it.

Zoe, I showed those pics to my hubby, he absolutely LOVES bulldogs, lol. Very cute pics! I love the one that has a little bit of pink on the nose. But I just have a thing for those white dogs that have the patch on one eye...kinda like the dog from Little Rascals :) That's so neat that you're getting into confirmation. That would be soooooooo much fun!

Well, you would know. I am so out of my element on this breed. A lot of things they have, cause troubles in my breed, so I am instinctively abhorrent about certain things, and have no knowledge about the breed standard... The dog you like, on second examination, may have the larger head to body ratio that you described, and his personality and demeanor meshes with yours[admit it, he is a suck up and knows you are the best bet he will ever get]. He looks smarter than the female. All in all, I would pick the female in this group, but I have already exposed my inability to judge this breed(at this time)....
Kitty he was such a suck up. I sat down on the floor when she went to get the puppies. This was the puppies first time "out in the real world" and most ran right by me. Jack and Manny however, hopped right into my lap. Jack eventually crawled away but Manny stayed with me until I put him in Kaitlyns lap, which are the pictures we have. At one point I did stand him up to get the picture of him by himself but he immediately crawled right back into my lap. He loves me!
