I just talked to the cat rescue lady that works with my Vet, she said they are sending 600 cats from Katrina to Southern California and each rescue is responsable for a certain amount of animals.
Right now I got this cat that is in her rescue who is sick, trying to nurse him back to health, but the more I think of it the more i relaize I shoudnt have brought this cat home since it isnt healthy, so im gonna bring him back to work and ask if i can foster a Katrina cat.
He will go back to the hospital and be taken care of there like he was. Its just too much responability, he is on so many differnt meds and has to be hand fed, so right now its best for my fur babies that we help out a healthy cat who needs a foster. Its probley also better for him to be in the hospital.
Good idea on the name, thats what I will name her if the cat i get is a girl.
thats alot of cats. i dont foresee many of them being reunited with their owners. where would they even begin to look.so at least i hope they get homes. i saw a shelter on cnn. so many animals. separated from their families.they looked lost and scared. i hope that they get placed in homes where they can begin to recover emotionally from all the trauma they have been through.
