Anybody interested in going? www.lobsterfest.com My nephew and I will be going and will help out at our rescues booth tonight, possibly another day this weekend too. We won't have any dogs with us this time, but we will just be there to let anyone and everyone that did not know we were there before. That we are. Stuff like that. Next weekend we bring in a bunch of dogs from the desert. Hopefully we will find homes quick. Chance pulls at my heartstrings.
that lobster fest looks like alot of fun. i have never eaten it before. they just look like giant bugs to me. lol
and i hope those dogs find homes. i especially like kilee. shes a very beautiful girl. they have pet adoption days at the petsmart where my niece works. she said they get some pretty big turn outs and alot of dogs get homes.
You should see the turn outs on the big advertised adoption things. Sooooo many people just for the pets. Its amazing. Our rescue is one of those unadvertised stores, that sells only quality food. Unlike the others. But they have a weekly add, for those interested in the things to do part of our local paper.
I can't believe you never had lobster. How about shrimp?
i know this sounds weird, but i love shrimp. lol . prawns are about my favorite of all seafood. i dont eat crab, clams, oysters, muscles, or anything else. i used to go crawdad fishing with my uncle when i was young. he would dump the buckets out in the grass and they would move around in the grass. i couldnt eat them after that. they looked like giant grasshoppers. and crabmeat stinks, i could never get it past my nose. eewww .
Wow, Lobster is kind of like a giant shrimp. You should try it without the shell so's it won't scare you away. Fresh over the b.b.q. with lemon-garlic butter. Oh lord thats heaven.
