We were trying to find a name and like our other animals. Odd and Unique! lol and with a meaning preferable with a chinese sounding origin or something similar. I had picked out a few names and told hubby about them and he was like "they are okay" but he said that we needed to name him something like "moneybags" or something and then it clicked and he said that he thought of the name for him........

I remember after buying my lab puppy my mom told us to name him AC. Because we bought him instead of fixing the AC in the car. LOL!!! We named him Winston instead.
I think you should pronounce it "Cha-Ching" because then for short he can be Chachi. The other way you're left with Chi-chi [feminine] or Chinga [spanish naughty word].
We may do that, although he will probably be called Chingy for short. I am not sure, I guess we will see! lol Hubby said I will sound like a slot machine calling him......."chi-ching, chi-ching, chi-ching" LOL
I think that's a great name, as well. It'll be fun! I screwed up thinking naming my new one Dokker would be cute. Dook and Dokker. Gawd, I'm an idiot. I can't even say any word with a D and a K in it and they both come running, looking to see what I want, let alone keep them straight when one is getting into something... sigh...

Well, tell my Mexican friends that your dog is named "Chingy" and wait for the laughter to start. They [Mexicans] use that word, in various forms, to mean" that thing", but it can be "my thing" if you are a guy, and know what I mean...I hear it used a lot at work.
LOL, I am just screwed with this name no matter what! LOL I love this name but of course, it does have the potential to change afte we get him and see his personality and then I will have to get on here and see if it means anything obscure! LOL
