My brother got the girls back from the pound the next day...
Stupid people, it was years that I would have nothing to do with giving/selling them a dog, but my mom is retireing this year and wants to show dogs, so I gave them these fine girls.
If the idiot had a tag on the dogs with his phone number, they would have called him instead of the dog pound. It would have cost him a token $20. instead of $100. or more, to get them back.

Microchip your dogs...[All dogs I encounter get chipped...] The pound scans them when they come in, then they call you...
