No Pain No Gain


oh my god .. i am looking to lose abit of weight .not much as i like looking like a woman ..im currently 9.5 stone and want to get to 9 and approx 5'3 the last time i checked.. so a healthy weight for my height.

well i not one to go to the gym so i thought i would have a look at the DVDS on offer..i done a search on ebay then looked up the reviews on Amazon ..

After much searching i chose the MInisty of Sound Pump it Up . it had fantastic reviews and looked fun with some great music ..well i ordered it and as soon as it came i stuck it in the player all eager to start.. little did i know

started of with the warm up which was 12 minutes long and i thought i was gonna die lol i then went on to the most enduring 1hour 'Dance stage' of my life.. Lets just say me flopping all around the living room with no sense of coordination or which was my left and right sent Harvey into a freaky 15 minutes jumping up all over me thinking mums playing.. i ended up battered and bruised red faced and sweating in places i never thought possible.. and the Bums and Tums section was like torture ..

After nearly fainting from the heat i crawled upstairs to get the fan and put on my unflattering swimming costume (i was really hot ) staggering back down stairs my legs felt like jelly. I looked an absolute picture of horror with my hair sticking to me face with sweat and michael chose the worst time to pop home and suprise me.. i stood there wanting the ground to swallow me wholewhilst mumbling to myself ~ Michaels face was a picture i think he wondered where Nicola had gone and there was this loony in his living room.

Well I woke up this morning and i felt like i had been in a boxing match ..i can barely move ~ looks like Harvey is gonna have to do without the 3 miles today ..poor baby ..

Im gonna stick with it though

I am right here with you guys. I have about 15 pounds that NEED to go and as quicker they can possibly get off my body the better. I just haven't found the time(oh yeah, maybe my foruming time could be better put to use??? ) Yeah, we'll see about that....... hehehe Really though, I have got to get better about not eating out so much McD's is a killer!

I eat Subway everyday! No Lie and I have been loosing weight like crazy lately. I guess working there does have some good points.

glad you all had a laugh reading that ..i couldnt stop laughing when i wrote it. I feel alot better today although im still walking abit stiff. Michael was stunned when he came home a saw me but yeah he did get a good laugh. I was dead embarassed ..i wanted to keep it secret lol

If I weighed 130 pound people would think I had an eating disorder. My normal weight ranges from 150-160.Being 5 foot 9 I could weigh 170 without looking fat. I have been thinking all night about starting dieting again and exercising but I am going to wait until Monday. Monday are always my start days with any diet.

i wish it would be alot easier..just aslong as he doesnt get a taste for leotards, sweat bands and ankle warmers from the 80's i'll be just fine

Lol Twink! That story is tooooo funny! Don't worry, I've been there too. Kathy Ireland kicks my bum all the time when I start to do her video after not doing it for awhile. I have such a hard time staying motivated to work out. It's funny, I will work out for like a month and then quit. My friends tease me because technically they say that if you can get to a month, that exercising becomes more like a habit and easier to stick with. Not for my defective body! Ha. I'm down to the weight I want, but I really need to work out so I stay toned. Working out...bleh...


Keep with it! If you have a pic of yourself you really like, pin that up for motivation. That's what I will do. Or I skim through the magazines with the models. Course, I'm a bad person for advice because I am really anal about gaining weight. I think I worry about my body a little too much, lol.

Hunter I'm the same way.  The thought of gaining a pound sends me into a panic. 


I ate a cookie today and I feel like I gained 10 pds.  As soon as I finished eating it I ran and jumped on the scale.  I thought it looked like I'd gained a milligram so I ran down to my exercise room and jumped on the elliptical for 45 min.  I'd already done 2 hours of yoga this morning.  I do something at least 6 days a week even if its just jumping on something downstairs for a half hour.

130?????!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I was 130 again! I'm 5'7 and around 165 which is over weight. I'm loosing weight rather quickly now so I don't know what I am at the moment. My goal is to be able to wear when I wore before my son was born! I'm almost there!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids sure do a number on the body don't they Stormy? Lol. I didn't gain too much weight with my kids because of how sick I got during pregnancy, but man did my 9 pound newborn son do a number on my stomach, lol. Took me forever to get that back!
