My tattoo artist came back into town. I am so happy...I can finally finish my tattoo on my arm. He went to Flordia for a long time because he said he needed to get his life straightened out. I was in shock though when he came up on my door step today to tell me he was back for good. I am in a very good mood.....
That's awesome Paige! I am hoping to get a tattoo soon. Well, actually two. I was contemplating contacting the people from that show 'Miami Ink' and seeing if when we're in Miami next year if I could make an appointment to have one of them do it because they are awesome. But since they have a show now, I'm sure they are booked for a REALLY long time.
Ooo..speaking of tattoos, maybe you will have a good idea on something! I want two subtle tattoos. One of Tinkerbell on my hip because I am a Disney NUT and have always loved Tinkerbell. I have waited so long to get it because I wanted to make sure I really wanted it, and I still do after all these years. And the other one that I want to do is 'Love Conquers All' in Latin in a banner with a hummingbird holding each end. Each bird would symbolize each of my kids. Where would you suggest would be a good place to put that? Because I want it to be subtle too. I was thinking my ankle or something, but I dunno....

Whats subtle? LMAO!!!!! I have one on my ankle and it always gets noticed and its just a small butterfly. But you could always get one on your back.... Speaking of Tinkerbell, thats what Kaitlyn is going to be for halloween. After I finish my arm I plan on getting a huge flower about halfway on my ankle and the other half on my foot..and I want it in purples and pinks. But I still have about 6 hours left on my arm.
I'm a wimp...I will never get another tatoo! I had my eyebrows tatooed...only because they were sparse in some areas...and it hurt like heck! I swore never again!
i,m with you on that one masonsmom. i am petrified of needles. i could never hold still for hours and let anyone poke me with them. i have seen some beautiful tatooes, just too chicken to ever get any myself.
I am totally addicted. I also have plans to do my whole back and half of my left arm. I am going to the new tattoo shop on Saturday just so I can talk more with him. But he always does my work on weekdays because it is free work. So I will probably start on it next week. I am so happy.... I have also been thinking about changing some of the color up on it. But so far it needs to get redone in a few places, he is going to bring it up more on my shoulder, bring it down more to my elbow, and wrap it completely around my arm. I'll see if I can handle the pain to my fleshy underside of my arm. Here is a pic...soon I think it will look completely different.
I have 3 tattoos. I have one on my shoulder blade, one on my back, and one on my upper thigh. I really, really, really want one on the back of my neck but hubby has put his foot down and said no way. He very rarely does that so when he does it I know to listen.

Zoe. its so funny because Brad told me that I couldn't get a one on my neck. I thought it was strange because I have then everywhere else. He also doesn't like them on breast because I was looking into getting one in-between my boobs on the breast bone. I swear I am running out of places to put them. LOL!!!
great news about the tatooist..i waited ages for the appointment at mine as he is fantastic. Ive got 2 on my stomach and one of my lower back..so they are pretty subtle and people just get the odd flash now and then. Its such an addictive thing to do and the pain was no problem ..it was uncomfortable but not bad enough to make you want to run out the door! Having my belly button pierced was the best thing ever..i completely love it but michael nearly faints everytime i wiggle the bar around lol my belly button looks weird without it in . That was painless too~ only a small bit on bruising
On my back I have a trible looking thing between my should blades thats about 3 by 5 and that cost me 20, on my right shoulder blade I have my daughters initals and that cost 15, on my right ankle I have a butterfly thats about 2 by 3 that cost 20, on my inner wrist on both I have some tribel looking things that cost 15 each, and of course my arm which is bio-mechanical so far it has cost 100(I have been four times and sometimes I tip him more). So I have about 700 dollars worth of tattoos that only cost me 165.
I have 2 tats and I want more. And just like Zoe I want one on the back of my neck but hubby put his foot down on that one. LOL. I want another one of something not too sure yet and I want my sons name with it.
Dusty I am petrified of needles as well but I can get anything tatooed or piecred. LOL I'm so weird. I have my belly and tongue done, I had a few others that I took out. But when I go to the doctor and they come at me with a needle I run screaming and they end up having to hold me down. LOL
. That was painless too~ only a small bit on bruising
