Gosh Not Again...Another Dog

Good Gosh another lost soul has found his way to my house. This time a hunting dog of some sort. He looks to be about 1 1/2 to 2 yrs old atleast. I think I know who this doggie belongs to I won't know for sure till the morning. But I am not happy about the way he loks. Way under weight......I could count and see ribs...the whole spine...hip bones...little to no muscle tone...Arggg people I tell ya. And some how this little lost souls always finds a way to my front door. And this guy is so scared and skittish..Just looking at him makes him hit the ground.

that is so sad ! it sounds like he has been physically and mentally abused. poor thing. why do people have pets and treat them so badly. hes probably half starved. my heart goes out to him. i would hate to see the owners get him back. i doubt he will live much longer in their so called care.

I wouldn't contact the owners, if they are who you think they are. Don't even let them know that you found the dog, they won't be getting him back. That's so sad!! Poor lil doggie!!

Well, now you have to consider if this dog has possibly been gone for a while and just couldn't get back to his home? We have had animals gone for months and then show back up long after we figured they were gone for good. They looked like hell. The owners may be very sad if he has been gone for a long time and they might have thought they would never see him again. Chances are slim that that is the case but it does happen.

i have considerd that...about three houses down there is a country store that someone keeps their hunting dogs in a kennel on the back of the property. And I know that last night there was a dog raising cane over there. And I do know that there is at least one dog that is none to get out. I will know more in the morning.

Make them give you ten bucks for catching the dog.
Then start recommending better dog foods by name.
Some folks that work their dogs real hard, do not understand that they need puppy feed type- efficiency feed. They will get better performance from their dogs...
