so true ! i used to get so tired of picking up my grandsons toys . but now that they are gone. i wish i had the toys to pick up ! i miss them so much.......
I'm with you Dusty! The house is just too danged quiet now and I wish I had all those toys to pick up, and dirty cups to put in the sink, dirty clothes to pick up off the floor, backpacks to stack neatly by the door, shoes to put in the shoe box, bath towels to hang on the towl rack instead of stepping on them on the floor, etc. etc. etc.
Now that the boys are here just one night a week I don't even bother telling them to pick up anything because I'm just enjoying them being here. But the funny thing is now that I'm not hounding them, they're just doing it on their own. Go figure!
