Hi Jess! Wow, for a second my heart jumped in my throat because I thought that dog was free or something! Lol. Very lovely dog! I wish!
That darn guy decided to give the puppy to his sister. Bleh. I am starting to want another dog now because of all of this though. I don't know if I want another Chihuahua or another breed. I REALLY want a Dane or Mastiff but I don't know how fair that would be. I don't exactly have the biggest yard. **word of caution if you ever move to Colorado....while it's gorgeous and you think of mtn. homes and acres of land...yeah...that's only for ppl that can afford 500,000 homes. Regular communities have the TINIEST yards
But anywho..I'm not in a big hurry or anything. I'll just do my research and go from there

I think you just need to go for it and move to logan!
Lately i have really been wanting a big dog that i can groom. My friend that i work with is going to try and get a standard poodle in jan or feb ish...I hope she does, it will help me not to want to get another dog. lol
Hehe, you sound like my sis in law I would LOVE to move there. We either have to wait for a really good paying job, or pay off all our debt first so it doesn't matter so much what we make, lol. We're coming up in December for a visit though
I love poodles when they are floofy and groomed

Just because Danes and Matiffs are HUGE dogs doesn't mean they need large yards. My sister used to live in a upstairs apartment and Tess did great there. And my house is small and the yard smaller. But I think it doesn't matter the size of the yard as long as long as you want to walk sometimes.
My best guy friend has a great dane and an english mastiff both and they all (along with his girlfriend) live in an apartment, not a house. They do take them to the dog park, which he describes as being like a tennis court size place for the dogs to run and play in. They've also got a smaller part fenced off for the little dogs to play. He lives in Omaha, NE too, so it's not like a small town place where the dogs can just go run around and not be leashed and everyone knows it's your dogs.
Yoy know for being a large breed like the Mastiffs they are not claimed to be very good runners and they like life a little slower, nice wlaks and being the biggest baby you ever saw. They showed one on animal planet a long time ago, His weight got him in the Ginues book. They said for such a large dog he really didn't neeed much room to play cause he didn't do much. Though he liked his walks, But picking up his pooo wasn't that fun though. They eat alot!!!!!!That would be my only draw back, if I need a large shovel to clean up after the dog..
that looks like a frenchie. and if she was only 600 around here she would be sucked up fast !! i wish i had the extra money. i would suck her up myself. she would be VERY spoiled here. right along my the others. lol
