Bearded Dragons.....

Anyone know anything about them?? I've already started checking it out on msn search and found a pretty good site, but I was wondering if anyone here has ever owned one?? I'm supposedly getting one sometime in the near future. I was doing hair on one of my regular clients last nite and was telling her about all my animals and how I really want to get an iguana sometime while Brad is gone (yeah, I'm a chicken sh*t to get one when he's here to actually tell me "no", lol). So she says "well, how about a bearded dragon??" and I say "well, sure!! Is it well-socialized??" "yes. And I will give you everything that goes with it, including the enclosure." So of course, I'm super-excited!! I've heard a lot about how they're a good "starter lizard" for people with little to no experience with reptiles, which is great, considering I only had my iguana for 1 year and it was like 5 years ago (my mom made me give her back to the girl that gave her to me. She really missed her iguana, I guess). I've read about how they're omnivores and will eat super worms and crickets with calcium dust on them. Also that I should vary their veggie intake and not offer the same kinds of veggies all the time. Also know that I need to provide UVA and UVB light for the best results and need to have it 100 degrees before the animal will eat.

I guess I just need to know ANYTHING else that anyone has experienced with this specific reptile. I just wanna be the best beardie mommy that I can be!! Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!
