i am so far gone!!!

Today, me and the girls from the salon made chocolate covered cherries, just as we have every election day since I've started there (in Oct. 2003). Well, we went to the liquor store here in town and tried a bunch of wine (after trying a whole bunch at our boss's house) and it was sooo fun!!! I talked to this lady about my hubby going into the national guard and she had worked with me during RAGBRAI (something something Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) and she had asked me about him and he's doing great!!! Can't imagine how many errors there are/were in this thread!! My boss's hubby had to drive me home because I've had waaaaayyy too much to drink!! LMAO!! There's no one to hold my hair back!!!

Sounds like you've had a blast!  Remember to keep your foot on the floor when you go to bed tonite to stop the bed from spinning!

Mollie, since menopause I've been "so far gone" alot!! Sometimes it takes being "so far gone" to see the light of day the next day. Glad you had someone to help find your way back home.

You may have to hold your own hair back, but i bet there's someone there to lick the tears from you eyes with a smile.

i think we have all had one of those days at least once. but i dont know how in the heck you can sleep on a couch. i have before but i usually ended up on the floor when i got the need to stretch my legs out . course one time my friend and i got so crocked, we went for a walk (at 3:00 in the morning)and laid down in someones front yard and passed out. we woke up when it started to rain.i dont drink anymore because i like to know what i actually did the night before and not have to hear about it from others that were with me !  lol    Ladies Night

Yeah, at next year's Cherry Chocolate Day (where us salon girls get together and eat and drink wine and make chocolate covered cherries) I don't think I'm gonna drink quite as much. I feel pretty OK now, but in the middle of the nite I sure wasn't feeling so hot!! I was also drunk at a public affair!! In my town they have the businesses do this thing called Business After 5, where the local business owners get invited to come to a business and just socialize pretty much. I'd been drinking wine since 12:30 at my boss's house and I drank some wine while we were at the business after 5 thing and MAN WAS I TRASHED!!! I guess I didn't think I was that bad when we left my boss's house, but I only had 3 glasses of wine (I think) at the business thing. GOD I hope I didn't hit on my boss's son!!!

Hit on your boss's son? Unless he's 12 years old, that should not be a problem.
Prolly take a week to get all that sugar out of your system

LMAO, he's not 12, he's 24. He is 2 years older than me and we went to school together. I had THE BIGGEST crush on him when I was a freshman!! LOL He is married now and has a beautiful baby boy, Parker, and they're just the cutest family ever!! His wife is a year older than me and she's super nice, so I wouldn't want to ruin anything for anyone. But my boss and the receptionist that went with us both assured me that I wasn't annoying or obnoxious or anything like that. I just went up to this lady that I recognized from somewhere and could NOT remember where from, so I pulled her aside and said "Hey, Joan. Where do I know you from??" Well, being her name is Jean, that was about the only embarassing thing I did all night. THANK GOD!!!! lol

See we told you things were gonna be ok, and that you didn't do anything stupid. Things are always worse when you are drunk, always makes things out worse then they really are.

Joan... Jean, close enough for horseshoes....
Flirting with the cute guy would not have hurt. Big plus to his ego [he's not dead, you know]. Act like nothing happened... and nothing did...
