I was updating my resume on yahoo and i called my mother to get some dates from her and when we were done i told her that my grandmother was trying to get in touch with her. Then she tols yea she knows my grandfather is in the hospital. He was driving back from the doctor and blacked out and ran into a wall. What makes this even worse is that my grandfather was taking money out of his retirement fund to get a new furnace and ac unit because theres went out. Now they also have to pay for his lincoln that he has had for i think right around a year and they are thinking his car is totalled. They are also having to pay for the hospitial bills. Also right now they are paying the house payment for my and my mothers house. We are having room mates moving in in may. I hope we can all make it till may. My mother is getting a raise and I have to find another job and hopefully my grandparents won't have to pay the house payment anymore. What worries me and my mother is if he is ok all me and my mother knows right now is that he is in the ER and one of my uncles and my grandmother are on there way up to the hospitial. I'll be back on later this evening.
wow. thats sad pd. it seems like when it rains it pours. we have been having a financial slump here too. i know how hard it gets. i will say a prayer for things to improve for you and your family. the most important thing is that he wasnt killed in the accident. keep your chin up, sometimes things seem soooo bad, but they always get better.
Boy P.D. so much happening at once. If your grandfather has full coverage the insurance will pay for it, I don't know though what happens if a car is not fully paid for. Actually wait a minute. My husbands car rolled down the hill and it was my husbands fault for not securing the car properly. We still have about $5000 to pay on his car, and the insurance fixed his car. Couple thousand $ worth. Not sure what happens if it is totalled though. Is you grandma alright.
It turns out that my grandfathers kidneys are only running on 30% and they are at least going to keep him over night because he is a diabatic and his sugar levels keep crashing and they don't know why. Well back up to the hospitial. Be back later. My grandmother wasn't in the car.
And yeah if he has full coverage his insurance should cover the cost or at least the amount of what the car was worth at the time. Wishing all is well.
Thx for eveyones prayers. I fgured i would come on thx ya'll now its about 5:30am and i can't sleep. LOL Shocker there. Well I'm going to get something to eat and then maybe i'll go to bed. WHo knows. Tomorrow will be a long day. I'm suppose to go out to the junk yard to check out my grandfathers car with my grandmother and get my grandfathers personal stuff. We are thinking that his glasses might be broken because he has cuts where his nose pieces were sitting. Hopefully he will be ok. I wanted to stay over night but my grandmother and mother wouldn't let me. They said i needed to sleep.
Ok well today my grandfather was released from the hospitial. Me and my mother have yet to hear if they know what caused him to black out. Right now they are out looking at my grandfathers car. I decieded not to go. I'll keep ya'll updated as I haer things.
is he diabetic ? or maybe hypogycemic? i know when my blood sugar drops, i get very faint and shakey. high blood pressure could be a factor too. its great that he is out of the hospital . he is probably glad to be home.
one thing that might help is have him carry a pack of life-savors on him at all times. when you feel your blood sugar dropping, eat a life-savor , they are a fast, temporary, and can keep you from getting weak or losing consciousness.
Well its not that its just droppin its that it is randomly crashing. When the wreck happened he was on his way home from the doctor. His blood sugar level was fine at the doctors.
