He is a strange looking mixture. The first thing I thought of when I saw him was Santa Claus - it looks like he has a beard.

that dog looks very scared in the picture. i wonder if he is a leftover from a litter of "designer" dogs. there seems to be more and more of these odd mixes ending up in shelters. you would think the ones doing all this breeding would wise up.

Yea but you do have to admit there are some of them out there who are responsible and they are mixing breeds to find a good compantion of breeds that would fit a certian situtation.

It makes since because a doberman comes from a combination of most likely the old german sheperd and german pinscher, wiht later crosses to the black and tan manchester terrier, greyhound, and weimaraner.

Like I said it makes you think about what breed the AKC will accept next.

Awww.. Bless his heart, I am sure he is very sweet but he is not beautiful! Hopefully someone will fall in love with his goofy curls soon and give him a great home.

I do not admit that there are good mixed breed breeders out there. Especially breeding for companion dogs, which exist currently anyhow.. But that's a neverending argument that's been gone over many times before.
