Out of the 5 years I have lived here I have never seen a tick. Well today I let trinity in a noticed something inbewteen her shoulders. So I look. ITS A TICK!!!!!! It was kind of big too. Now I'm knid of worried to let her out. I ve been checking her over and over I'll check her about 5 times after I let her in. I do have a question though. With winter coming to you think the cold will get rid of any ticks that are in my backyard? If no then do you think the spray would freeze if we sprayed it during winter?

Lately we have been getting alot of freezes and it takes awhile for this stuff to dry. This stuff is so bad that we can't even let trinity out in to the yard until its dry. Me and my mother can't even go into the yard. I'm just afraid that with the cold weather it won't dry.

I would put a good tick and flea preventitive on the dog(s) and then just check before she comes in. Spraying now can be bad as it does not all go away and it can be harmful to other animals. We have TONS of ticks here, never have them on my dogs though, I just keep up on their medicine(it goes between their shoulder blades typically) It is supposed to make the dogs blood poisonous to fleas and ticks and they die after they bite the dog. Hope this helps, if all else fails call your vet!

I do use the stuff on trinity of fleas and ticks. It probably didn't die because trinity gets the stuff every 6 months. The end of that 6 month time is coming up. I need to give her some new stuff on the 30th of this month.
