I don't know if ya'll remember that whole warning about the Swiffer Wet Jet and it being dangerous for kids and pets, but I found this tonight and thought I would post it since I remember how concerned we all got because of it:

What makes me mad, is who would joke about that? I mean, not only does it freak out anyone with kids or dogs, but it has probably really hurt sales for the people that make the Swiffer thingy.


I really like snopes though, sometimes I go there just to play on the site and read random hoaxes, lol. I just happened to come across that today...

i remember when that was a big scare. i never have used it so i didnt worry. with all my allergies, i have to be very careful what chemicals i bring into my home.

Dusty, I have really bad reactions to a lot of cleaners for some reason. Like if someone washes anything in Tide, I get this bumpy rash all over that itches like crazy. Or if I use Fantastix or Tile Cleaner, my eyes swell shut. I always wondered if I could maybe be allergic to that stuff, or if I'm just sensitive to it....
