Kitty - He got this camera on Saturday at walmart. It's a Kodak easy share 6.1 mega pixel and it came with a charger too for 299.00, plus he bought a 1GB card for like 78 dollars (sheeeew) but he's got this purchase done and out of the way. It's the camera he's been wanting but it's been way over 300 for a long time. Plus, there were 5 mega pixels for the same price, so he got a deal. :)

Cool. Thanks. I don't know much about camaras, still trying to figure out all the pixel-wixel stuff. I have seen some good prices at Wal-mart, that is where I got the camara that I'm now using [Kodak Advantix]. I just would like digital for use on the computer, but My scanner helps, it just is more work. I really like the color and detail Matt is getting
Yeah and I can't wait to use it for xmas photos. Matt is going to take pictures of me, my brother with our 2 dogs and kitten...omg it'll be a mess trying to get 3 animals to look at the camera all at once. My dogs are going to wear antlers...and my kitten, probably a little santa hat...plus, moms making ruffles for their necks and feet out of pretty fabirc she already bought...we are so mean....:) I hope we make it for the pic contest, it'll be a hoot....;)
Heff or Denise, does the camera take video? I have a really nice sony 6.1 mega pixels. I really love it and it takes really nice pictures when I set it on 6.1 but I usually leave it turned down lower. It's harder to get good pictures when it's set on the high setting. My hands are very shaky so a lot of my pictures on the high setting are a tad fuzzy. Now, if I were normal and my hands didn't shake like I was always scared to death it would be wonderful. I am only still using the camera because of the video. I would like to try another camera that is 6.1 to see if I can take better pictures with it or not but I'm not giving up my video on my camera. Even though we have a nice video camera (that takes digital pictures) it's to high tech for me and I can't use it.

My camera is a 6mp. I actually turned down the 8 mp one that I was going to get. The Canon 20d is an AWESOME camera, pretty spendy though. I got my camera - Nikon D70s and it was around $1500 for the kit that we bought it in. But it came with 2 lenese(28-70 and 70-300) It also came with filters and cleaner, a couple cases, tripod, etc. I will see if I can find the seller and post their link. . . It was an ebay store called DigitalCorp. They sell alot of different packages. I will see if I can find mine.........
