Anyways I really should be cleaning my house right now cause Saturday there is a huge birthday party here for my son, he's turing the big 2! I can't belive it! Seems like jsut yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. Everyones going to be here is should be fun! My father, step mother, mother and step father, plus my father in law, step mother in law, mother in law and step father in law, plus my brother in law and sister in law. I'm sure they will be bring people. All those people don't bother me as much as my Great-grandmother she is going to be here. I can't stand that woman. I haven't spoken to her since 99 and my mother invited her. Granted my son is her ONLY great great grand child but still I would be much better off if he never knew that woman. It's a long story as to why I do not like her so I will not get into details as that would prolly take me all night.
Next my mother in law called me tonight, my brother in law in IL is sending her 800 to buy a plane ticket to fly up there new years, well she wanted to give us and them a christmas presant. So, she came up with the idea to rent a car and drive up and take us with her, not telling my brother in law. We are really close to my brother and sister in law. Hubby and I decided that if she was to rent a car she would most likely rent some small POS and I nor hubby will get in something small and drive to the store much less across the states. We are going to be takeing my boat the Roadmaster. Now I haven't seen snow since 99 and hubby hasn't seen it since he was like 7 and he's 30 now. I am really exicted about seeing my brother and sister in law but it didn't hit me til we made all the plans that there will be snow! That i'm not to thrilled about. But, on the bright side Caleb can play in the show at least once in his life even though he may not remember it. We have NO winter cloths at all, I mean we live in Florida we can't even buy real winter cloths!!! The only thing i'm happy about seeing snow is a Snowball fight!!!!! I've had this thing for sometime for a real good snowball fight, I guess it's the northern in me comming out! LOL
OK now that i've bored you all to sleep i'll stop babbling now!
I'm from Arizona, and we're sitting here in our shorts and T-shirts. Actually it's been kind of cool, ( 68 degrees day, 38 degrees night). But I get no sympathy from my Mom in Iowa where it's been 10 degrees above zero during the day. If I go back to Iowa in the winter, I have clothes from the 1980's to wear. The new thing here is man made snow. People will come to your house and blow snow on it and charge you by the ton. I say, spend your money on a ticket back East instead and get the real thing.
Bring some innertubes to slide down the hills in thats alot of fun. Sorry you have to hang out with granny from hell. That part does not sound like fun. BUT with all your family around, I think it would be pretty easy to pretend she is still not there. No need to bend over backwards for her. Say hello and get on with the fun girl.... enjoy..
