That facial expression is priceless! Those big eyes look like they are in total wonderment!  Too Happy 1

Pretty.
I think it needs a bit more light.

Yeah, all of them do, we ordered a new lighting kit and we will redo all of the pictures then, hopefully they will want to behave!

The red cast the pics have is nice, like a fireplace light, very x-massy, but they just need the dogs illuminated a tad more...

I know, I can't wait to get my lighting kit. I have pretty low light in my living room, even with all of them on.

Check this out.
This is what I mean about the color being warm like firelight [end of card, when lights are dimmed].
You just about have the effect perfect in those pics of yours...

Yup, light or no, it is a real good photo, worth showing off.
All you need is a light that is high in the air, and directed down in a focused beam only on the dog's face. A guy that was taking photos at my restaurant used some. They are on a tripod, and are on a extending pole. You would need a real small one to not crash the cool background and atmosphere.
It may do good to cover the lamp with a colored cellophane to soften the effect, I would say yellow colored...
This is the kind of light I am talking about...
