she came through the surbery fine and it was a success. the surgeon told tim and steph that there is a 10-15% chance of the intestines getting tangled again. but that is a very small chance. they also removed her appendix as it was way up in the far right hand side and totally out of place. she will have to remain in nicu for another week or two, but she should be fine.

i think its amazing how far they have advanced in the field of medicine. years ago , a baby born with these kind of problems would have died. instead she will be able to live a normal life.
