thanks stormy. you too ! we will be safe here. we dont drink and are not partiers so we will be home. my daughters want to go to a party at some friends, but if they do they have to spend the night. which i prefer to have them do that rather than be out on the roads with the drunks. i hope everyones new years is safe and happy !!
I get off work at 10 then I am going to my in-laws for some drinking and some card games...and food. LOL!!! Hubby doesn't drink so I am safe in that department.
We have to go to a wedding. BLAH! I hate weddings. Does anyone else hate weddings? They just wear me out. It starts at 6 and it's over 2 hours away from us. We are taking the kids so we will not be out late. We will watch the ceremony (hubby is best man) and than we'll spend an hour or so at the reception and than we're leaving. Hubby and I have a nice bottle of Dom Perignon to ring in the new year. I've been dying to open that bottle for months now. I can't wait! I LOVE champagne and it doesn't get any better than Dom. OOh! We also have a bottle of Louis Roederer 1999 Cristal Brut. Maybe we'll pop that one open instead! I plan on being home by 10:30 and curling up in front of the fire with my champagne and my hubby. YUM!
