ACK!!! I finally made an appointment to get my haircut. Joys of moving to new cities....there's no family around that cuts hair! My appt. is for 1 tomorrow afternoon. Probably made a mistake going to a cosmo. school, but I'm giving them a chance to practice and get better, and if nothing else, it'll grow back, RIGHT?? I know the cosmo. school back in Wichita wasn't too bad, I'd gone there a couple of times and had friends go there. Besides, how else will people learn and know how to do it correctly? Can you tell I'm nervous about letting people I dont know cut my hair? It was always my aunt when I was younger and then my cousin as I got older.
LOL, I am getting my hair done soon too. I have to call and make the appointment. I am having highlights put in as well as a trim. These are the same people that styled my hair for my wedding but I am still nervous. I have never had my hair done by anyone professional.
I have gone to the beauty school quite a few times for a haircut and never was horrified. Now I just let my best friend do it. The thing to remember is that it's just hair. It grows back, and hell, us humans don't even need it!
I was very pleased with the results. I now no longer have caterpiller eyebrows....all nice and tamed back down The girl did a wonderful job on my hair. Because its so thick, I realized why my cousin always did short layers but I love the long layers that this girl put in. I will most definately look her up again, though she did have the teacher do a fair amount of it because she was worried about taking too much off or messing it up. At least she didn't pretend to know what she was doing. That granted her some respect in my book. Makes for a happy day in my world.
Hee-hee I just woke up. I had a dream, I grew a five o'clock shadow, and was discussing ways to remove my newly growing beard. I think I had decided to wax and strip it off. Being awake is good No beard anymore... Maybe my subconcious is trying to tell me I need some Royal Jelly.
Lord have mercy, I qas driving along today and decided to pull over to my hair salon and get mine snipped.
I will never ever ever ever again in my entire life ever go to a beauty school. They burned some of my hair off while perming it. Some smal sections, but Never again. Andsthey did not tell me anything at all. I had found out when my hair started to regrow, I felt nubbys
